| | Its sunny Sunday, Sept 6, 09.Starting from Slipi around 9 in the morning going to Ancol. Meeting point at in front of Plaza Indonesia, with Sebastian, then hits the road to Ancol. Trek: Jalan Sudirman - Jalan Thamrin - Jalan Gajah Mada - Arteri Mangga Dua - Ancol. Entry charge by cycle IDR 12.500 per person.
Nice view of Ancol, having lunch ikan, udang bakar dan cah kangkung at Dermaga resto. Enjoying coffee and es kelapa muda :)
Watching fisherman, looking at the jelly fish ... ah... what a nice Sunday... Stop by in the Dutch grave yard "Ereveld"...
Stop by at Rodalink, a new bicycle shop in Ancol... good service and free for my tire and also Sebastian, terima kasih :)
Then we are get back via the same route at 4 in the afternoon... one hour to reach my place. Not bad :)

| | Musim semi... Spring time in Holland - De Lente in Dutch.... Having two weeks in the middle of May 2009. Visiting family... A lot of tulips.. l love it. Wind mill, river... the food .. oh ya, cheese and yogurt and the most l missed is 'haring"... lekker... :)
Wondering how it feel when its winter.... must be very cold.. This spring time and l am wearing a lot of cloths, tried to buy a pair of glove.. but my om told me .. sweetie... it is not winter time.... I am freezing.. damn it .... :p
For me, people may laying on the beach, sun bathing ... let say like in Bali, Ancol and many beaches in Indonesia... but I am totally in my cloths plus coat not bikini ya on Scheveningen ... weird... :p
But most off all.... those places will make me come back again.... or stay there, who knows :)

| | Having 10 days holiday in Egypt last May'08 I'm enjoy everything, the treasures, Nile river, pyramids, tombs of the noble and king, museum, chruch, mosque, etc.
After long hours flight from Singapore to Cairo, we've arrived in early morning Friday. Well, people still sleeping or what... heheh its their weekend... The road still quite. We've got tour to the Village Pharaoh and Sound and Light show in Giza pyramid. Forget about the tired from the plane coz l was so exciting to get sight seeing in Cairo.
We've spent couple days firstly in Cairo then we fly to Aswan taking cruise going to Luxor along the Nile river. I just knew about the Lock on Nile, the High Dam in Aswan, Aboe Simbel Temple... where they move the temple because of the dam.. wondering how they make it.... Shopping at night market in Aswan, I love the mint tea... poor me l forget to buy it.
Meanwhile we've visited temples in Edfu and see the Luxor from above by hot balloon in the early morning. And what a huge complex in Karnak, the obelisk and The Secret Lake in the behind of temple. Total 3 days on cruise and enjoying the Nile and swimming on the top of boat.
Then fly again to Sharm El Sheik, enjoying Red Sea snorkeling and lying on the beach. Nothing more.. and I have difficulty of communication. People don't speak English much here... they rather speak in Italy. Capek deh....
Fly back to Cairo again, just 1 day rest before back to Jakarta. But still l have time to visit Hanging Church, Citadel and shop in the market. Hahah I have to buy another suitcase :">
On the plane... l saw one of the movies "TROY"... hah that's reminds me those temples in Egypt.... Long hours to reach Jakarta.... I couldn't sleep on the plane... have to back in to reality since l arrive in Jakarta... |
| | Sunday on May 4th, me, Radim, Hesty and Titan were going to Mekar Sari, fruit garden, in Cibubur. wow, that's so hot... panas.... oh ya, there was a fun bike also in Mekar Sari. Have met some friends from B2W ...
After get our lunch in Sari Kuring at Kota Wisata.. we are going to Kebun Raya Bogor... wow, its so nice.. with the big trees, orchids garden.... its like a small forest ... very nice

Since this month, April 08, I'm joining on of yoga class, beginner level in Menteng. It's 3 times per week, Tuesday & Thursday on 6.15 pm and once in Saturday morning on 8.30 am. Normally I go by bike cycle on Saturday morning, but today l take a taxi to the class.. hehe being tired from hang out last night and of my work in the whole week. We're going in the same taxi, first drop Gita in JNICC then me in Surabaya St.
The class was nice this morning, not so hard... feel fresh. This is one hour of exercise. After that l have to meet my friend Venny to give her t-shirt for fun bike tomorrow, April 20, GREEN festival at Senayan.
I was planning to take a taxi to Menteng, but it was so hard looking a safe taxi in this time. Ya, today is Saturday, still quite.. I am keep looking for taxi.. and l just realize that the weather was so nice... walking in along Imam Bonjol st, with the shadows from the big trees, big houses and some of buildings. Well, l decided keep walking and this is my first time... start from Jl. Surabaya going to Menteng, in front of Taman Menteng.
 Along my small trip l found the resident of Nederland's Ambasador, Belgie, Cultural Center of Rusia, and also the Museum of Adam Malik which is not well maintained anymore. After 15 minutes walking l find Taman Suropati.... this is nice park.. old one very nice.. l saw people walking and enjoying the park. I also saw couple of dogs was trained, they are golden retriever around 5 months l guess. I was sitting for awhile watching - taking a depth breath... hmmm...
Then I start walking again to Jl. Besuki this is shortcut.. because it is one way for car going to Taman Suropati. I couldn't find Mie ayam at SD Besuki anymore. I arrive in Taman Menteng and call my friend, Venny, then we meet in warung Serabi Solo, behind the Lippo Bank. We take some "serabi solo" for sure and also "urap"...
 Venny is my old friend, we are in the same neighbor in Yogyakarta. She was wondering that l've walked to reach here.Then l give her the t-shirt and helmet. This gonna be her first time cycling in Jakarta. hehehe... She is so enthusiast for fun bike .. :) Having chit chat and around 11.30 l have to go to pick up Gita, at JNICC-Jawaharlal Nehru India Cultural Center. Walking there.. and waiting for more than 1 hr... she didn't reply my sms, so l think she still got the exercise ... It's almost 1 pm... still hoping that she go out soon.. but she is not showing... yes, she was mentioned there will be extra exercise for their yoga dance performance next week.... Ok l give up.. l back home take taxi for sure :) not walking anymore ... enough for today...

| | Me and couple of my friends going to Ujung Genteng on March 7-9 2008. It's long weekend and we're very tired in Jakarta. We are trying to escape find the fresh air.
Ujung Genteng is located in Sukabumi, takes about 2 hours from Pelabuhan Ratu. Nice white sand beach and it's a conservation for the sea turtle. Should be patience to see turtle deliver those eggs at one time, around 200 eggs. And normally it begin around 8pm or so.
Pelabuhan Ratu, well, its nice but l prefer Ujung Genteng. Pelabuhan Ratu is just for the tourist place. Instead of playing in the beach we are so interesting to go to hot spring water around here, name Cipanas. Just make us smile, while we're enter the small road to reach Cipanas, tukang Ojeg or people in the street shouting "Mak Erot!!" hahah.. guess what??? Well, Mak Erot is here, around the way going to hot spring... ohhh that's why... Well, thanks we don't need Mak Erot... we are trying to find hot spring..
It was the culinary trip for us. Various of "Ikan bakar" fresh from the sea, we're buying in the traditional market fish in Ujung Genteng. Hah... lekker !!! We're also get durian... heheeh Salla was also try to eat durian.. yummy... Es kelapa muda in the Pelabuhan Ratu.
What a nice long weekend we've had... :) |

| | Just weekend getaway to Bali on Jan 18-20th. Swimming on beach and pool.. got the short course to dive .... looking for the best land in the up hill so that l can see the paradise. Padang Bai...... one of my favorite place to hide, enjoy my lay back... get tanned... share my time with my love one ... |

Secara long weekend dari tgl 8-10 April... gue udah punya dong
rencana-rencana biar nggak sia-sia gitu menikmati liburan. Hari Sabtu
beresin kamar trus sorenya ke MTA yah namanya cewek belanja da jalan
muterin mall kan udah termasuk olah raga, bukan? hehe gue berdua dgn
Dian akhirnya dapet beberapa baju dan sandal.
Hari minggu tgl 9 dateng ke nikahan Kama, ya di Bogor gitu.. dari jam
10 udah ngumpul di kantor.. biar berangkat bareng anak2 kantor. Kita 3
mogil dan secara kebetulan di Avanza Arya semua cewek :)) yang cowok2
biar naik di mobil Jimmy. Seru juga di Rancamaya... sayang pestanya
ujan... padahal mau balik lagi ke kambing guling, tapi secara ujannya
deres yah males deh mau bolak-balik... heheh akhirnya bareng Lydia
nongkrong aja di gubug Ice durian... huuuu enak bangettt....
Sorenya balik... drop lagi di kantor... tapi kok laper yah.. heheh akhirnya stop dulu di Bakso lapangan tembak...
Udah itu pulang, langsung mandi dan ke gereja di St. Thersia, yah itu
yg paling malam misanya jam 7, MInggu Palma. Abis itu ketemu Dabuz....
di Sarinah, sempet makan sate abis nemenin dia belanja ke Jl Sabang...
Baru deh pulang ke temapt gue. Dabuz nginep .. biar besok bisa
berangkat pagi ke Cibubur.
Janjian dengan Jenny untuk exercise di Fitness First Junction. Jam 9
kurang gue dan Dabuz udah nyampe di Junction, malah Jenny yg ngaret.
Tapi dimaafin deh, secara dia yg ngundang kita utk trial di Fitness
First... Jam 9.30 ada class Body Balance... hmmm gue suka banget
gerakannya lembut tapi ampun kok keringet gue ngucur juga. Selesai kita
pindah ke treadmill bentar krn abis itu ada kelas spinning.. aduh gue
sih bisa naik sepeda.. tapi gila nih, di kelas ini, ada bbrp track,
dari sprint, racing, hill ... haahhh mau mati rasanya... bukan
keringetan lagi... sampe abis kali cairan di dalam tubuh gue..
hehehe... Secara instrukturnya bilang bagus kelas sepeda ini bagus utk
burn your fat, shape your body and for stamina sih gue seneng... yang
jelas emang perutnya keceng, paha kemeng.. :D
Baliknya udah nggak pake tuh jalan2 shopping, abis lunch dgn kakaknya
Jenny kita langsung balik... hah perjalanan dari Cibubur ke Jakarta
jauh pula...
Sekarang mau tidur lagi nih... hahhh.. capek....
